HAIs π actually 2? Aka beware of visual proofs.
Draw a semicircle of radius 1. Its arc length is π.
Now replace it by 2 semicircles of radius 1/2. Both small semicircles have arc length π/2, so the total is still π.
Keep repeating this, using 2^n semicircles of radius 1/2^n. Every time, the total arc length stays π.
But as n tends to infinity, the curve becomes the straight diameter, and the diameter has length 2. So, did we just prove π = 2?
This is clearly not true so what goes wrong? The curves converge to the diameter, but limit of the length ≠ length of the limit. Why? Even when the bumps become tiny, the curve still keeps turning up and down. This means that the direction, or derivative, of the curve does not converge to the direction of the line. You'll always travel a longer distance along the bumpy curve.

EXOne of the simplest real-life proofs that Earth is curved is what happens when a cruise ship sails away over the ocean 🌍🚢
As the ship moves farther from shore, the bottom disappears first, then the middle, and finally the top (like the mast or smokestacks).
If Earth were flat, the ship would just look smaller — but it wouldn’t “sink” out of view.

1) Noah’s Ark - Mount Ararat, Eastern Turkey
“And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.” - Genesis 8:4
Mount Ararat refers to a mountainous region in eastern Turkey. On its slopes, several expeditions have documented a large boat-shaped formation partially embedded in the terrain, measuring approximately the size described for the Ark in Genesis. Radar scans and ground samples from this structure have indicated the presence of layered material and organic compounds consistent with ancient timber, which is why this location continues to be associated with the biblical account.
2) Split Rock of Horeb - Jabal al Maqla, Saudi Arabia
“Thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink.” - Exodus 17:6
At Jabal al Maqla there is a massive boulder split down the center, standing above a dry streambed. The base of the rock and the surrounding ground show erosion patterns that indicate large volumes of water once flowed outward from this single point.
3) Mount Sinai - Jabal al Lawz, Saudi Arabia
“And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire.” - Exodus 19
Jabal al Lawz has a darkened, scorched summit that contrasts sharply with the lighter stone below, suggesting exposure to extreme heat. Around the mountain are remains of ancient stone enclosures, altars, and boundary markers consistent with the descriptions in Exodus of a restricted sacred area around Sinai during Israel’s encampment.
4) Red Sea Crossing - Nuweiba Beach, Gulf of Aqaba
“The waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.” - Exodus 14
Bathymetric surveys of the Gulf of Aqaba reveal a natural underwater land bridge at Nuweiba, descending gently from both shores and rising again on the opposite side. Divers have also documented objects shaped like chariot wheels and axles, matching the description of Pharaoh’s army.
