DRBefore starting your data collection, it’s very important to have a clear idea of what data you actually need in order to obtain well-balanced and scientifically sound results.
To ensure that, think about it retrospectively, first decide what results you want, how you plan to analyse the data (tables, charts, etc.), and what categories you will require (e.g., age, gender, adverse effects, onset, duration, and so on). Then begin your data collection accordingly.
By approaching it this way, you can make sure there is no missing data when you move on to analysis and writing your results.
How to create and refine these categories, I’ll explain that in the next reel. So make sure you follow and share this with friends who are just beginning their thesis journey.
These tips are especially for students who are starting out and may find the process difficult due to limited guidance.
