Classical computers work with bits that can be either zero or one. Every digital system we use today is built on that simple idea. Quantum computers are different. They use qubits, which can be both zero and one at the same time because of a rule called superposition. When qubits become linked through entanglement, their states stay connected no matter how far apart they are. This lets quantum computers explore many possibilities at once instead of one at a time, giving them incredible speed for certain problems. They can model complex molecules for medicine, improve cryptography, and optimize huge systems like energy grids, supply chains, and traffic networks. But qubits are fragile and lose their state easily, which is why most quantum computers must stay near absolute zero. We are still in the NISQ era — experimental and limited — but scientists are moving closer to achieving quantum advantage, when quantum systems will outperform classical ones. The age of quantum computing has begun, and it will change how we understand and process information forever. #QuantumComputing #Qubits #Superposition #QuantumEntanglement #QuantumPhysics #ScienceExplained #FutureTech #Astrinova #QuantumEra #PhysicsReel #ScienceEducation

LINK IN BIO for all the latest news in the world of AI🧑‍💻 This quantum computer chip did a calculation in five minutes that would’ve taken the fastest supercomputer 10 septillion years to complete. That’s longer than the universe has existed. Roughly 7.3 million times longer. Google announced this chip, called Willow, a few days ago. This breakthrough actually supports a theory first proposed by physicist David Deutsch - that quantum computers might be working with versions of themselves in parallel universes, solving different parts of the problem at the same time. This is also known as the Multiverse theory. While regular computers use bits that can only be 1 OR 0, quantum bits (or qubits) can exist in multiple states at once. When qubits work together through quantum entanglement, their power grows exponentially - so just 5 qubits can crunch through 32 different number combinations in a single calculation. Usually quantum computers are very fragile. The more power you add, the more errors you get. But Willow does the opposite. As it gets bigger, it actually makes fewer mistakes, solving a problem they’ve been working on for 30 years. They keep the chip in a “dilution fridge” at temperatures colder than outer space. These extreme temperatures allow the chip to enter a zero-resistance state. Allowing electricity to flow without energy loss. Quantum computers could help us discover new medicines, new energy alternatives, and advance AI in ways regular computers never could. We might be looking at one of the most important technological breakthroughs of our time. #trendingreels #quantum #ai #tech #future #computer

Computing as we know it uses 1’s and 0’s to complete functions. Quantum computation, however, takes on richer states that go far beyond just a simple 1 or 0. In our latest discovery, our Quantum AI researchers hit a breakthrough that significantly shifts how we understand and operate quantum computing. Just ask Yu Chen, Lead Scientist in Quantum Metrology, who breaks down the bits and bobs of an enhanced quantum computer. At the link in bio, learn more about our recent milestone.
