BEI used to be so crushed by every rejection. As an actor I had such hope for every single audition which in retrospect I get it bonkers. But at the time every rejection felt personal and like it meant something about me. That I wasn’t t good enough.
it feels like ~growth~ to not be crushed by these rejections and instead be genuinely happy that they’re even being looked at. The rejections were even personalized!
Being this mature about rejection is very weird but I’ll take it over being heartbroken 💔 and in the meantime I’m going to keep sending out those queries!
