GRWorms are so awesome. Most people would be gunning for the castings and I totally understand, but for me it’s all about the liquid gold. I have just big buckets full of only food scraps and cardboard, they don’t leave and the pile always goes down so I know they are working hard. These aren’t even composting worms lol, they are worms from the garden beds that I saw while I would turn them. They have grown enough that they keep up with all the scraps given! The benefits of not taking the castings is that my worms don’t experience any stress and I don’t have to experience rotting food scraps. The life that’s in the soil they are creating for me gets washed out, collected into buckets, left to bubble over a 24/72 hour period, then introduced to the beds that have root systems breaking down, or organic matter. I love using this stuff, and since I always worry about what I’m putting on my food and in my soil it’s another little thing not to worry about! Please do your own research before using this method, it can be unsafe if not done properly.
