RIEven experienced Reefers make mistakes…and I recently made a BIG ONE! I left a dosing pump running and had a massive overdose of All for Reef (almost 5 liters) several weeks ago 😱! My alkalinity and calcium soared to super high levels and I was freaking out. Fortunately I had a backup plan and was able to analyze the best way to correct this problem. It is important not to panic and to understand the science and physiology of your reef ecosystem when mistakes occur. I’ll share in more detail how I overcame this issue and how I set up safeguards so it doesn’t happen again! Leave a comment below if this has ever happened to you and what you did to fix it!
