FOHealthy Reese’s Pumpkins✨ Reese’s pumpkins are one of my favorite candies for Fall! This version skips any unnecessary additives and are made with only 5 simple ingredients. I make these every Fall, they are so good!
Here’s what you need:
2/3 cup natural runny peanut butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/3 cup almond flour
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
2 tsp coconut oil
In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, syrup and almond flour. Continue to fold together until a thick dough forms. Place the dough on parchment paper. Place another piece of parchment paper on top and use a rolling pin to roll out to about 3/4” thick. Transfer to the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
After the 30 minutes, cut out about 6 pumpkin shapes using a cookie cutter. Keep in the freezer if starting to soften. Form the scraps into pumpkins or any other shape!
Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth. Dip the pumpkins in the chocolate to fully coat, shake off excess and place on the parchment paper. Top with sea salt if desired and transfer to the fridge for about 10-20 minutes until chocolate is set. If doing a chocolate drizzle, do so after about 5 minutes in the fridge.
