Because it had standing access. The same credentials a human admin would have. But it operated at 5,000 operations per minute—100x faster than any human could respond. Gartner predicts that by 2028, 25% of enterprise breaches will trace back to AI agent abuse. The problem? We built authorization systems for humans clicking buttons.
