DEWelcome home sweet girl 🩷🥹 I have to give a huge shout out to @savethedals and @houndstownpensacola for all of the time and effort they put into organizing this moment and keeping her safe while we were away!
I reached out in response to her listing right before going overseas for the holidays. With 3 weeks left of our trip we found out her foster (/maybe previous owner?) was going to surrender to the shelter if no one could get her before the holidays. At this point my mind was made. She was coming home with us one way or another. 😆
With some help from an amazing rescue we were able to keep her out of a shelter and in a reputable boarding facility until we returned from our trip…. Or so we thought.
With 1 week left of our trip we found out she went into heat 😅 because of legal issues, the boarding place was unable to keep her. Save the dals helped again by scheduling an emergency spay and returning her to the boarding facility while she healed.
Did I mention this rescue is based in Las Vegas and we’re all the way in Florida?!
I don’t know how this all happened or came to be… but I couldn’t be more excited and grateful to be her forever mom. 🩷
