PRFloating diamond rings are beautiful, but they should never be stacked directly together. The exposed diamonds can rub and loosen over time when the rings move independently.
To keep your set safe, you have two options. Soldering your rings fuses them together and makes the entire set stronger. Or you can add a thin spacer band which gives you the flexibility to wear each ring on its own or stack them safely without the diamonds touching.

DICathedral vs Tiffany settings. These are the two most common settings you’ve probably seen… just maybe without actually knowing the formal terminology (until now 😉).
Both are equally beautiful and are are secure setting for your stone.
While a cathedral setting has sweeping shoulders to meet the diamond basket, a Tiffany setting is more of straight band with the diamond basket sett on top.
Ultimately which setting you choose just comes down to personal style and your individual design preference.
