TEMensalmente, os brasileiros recebem pelo menos 10 bilhões de ligações feitas por robôs, de acordo com dados da Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel) revelados pelo Fantástico no último domingo (27). Essas chamadas podem ter diferentes finalidades, de ofertas de produtos e serviços a golpes.
Segundo o órgão, o Brasil registra cerca de 20 bilhões de ligações de curta duração por mês, em média, das quais metade são automáticas.
Os números têm aumentado em 2025, quando foram feitas 24 bilhões de chamadas entre janeiro e fevereiro, ou 23 mil ligações a cada minuto, o que representa 12% em comparação com o mesmo período do ano passado.
Como destacou o programa da Rede Globo, as ligações automáticas funcionam como uma espécie de “prova de vida”. Caso o proprietário do número atenda o telefone, o sistema irá marcar a linha como ativa, transformando-a em um cliente em potencial.
Utilizando a internet em vez da rede telefônica convencional, os sistemas de robocalls podem criar números aleatórios e inexistentes. Como a ferramenta gera um novo número a cada chamada, o bloqueio de ligações acaba se tornando ineficiente.
Além de oferecer serviços e produtos legítimos, as ligações automáticas também são utilizadas na aplicação de golpes. Dessa forma, é preciso ficar atento para não ser enganado.
A Anatel afirma que conseguiu reduzir em 222 bilhões a quantidade de chamadas automáticas entre junho de 2022 e março de 2025 por meio de uma série de medidas. Novas ações para combater as ligações abusivas estão previstas, como o lançamento da origem verificada.
Com este recurso, as ligações passarão a exibir, na tela do celular, a logomarca da empresa que está ligando e o motivo do contato, reduzindo as chances de golpe, conforme a agência reguladora. Assim, o usuário poderá decidir se atende ou não.

DESpam calls are one of the most annoying problems on the internet era. But surprisingly, a U.S. law from 1991 might allow you to earn up to $1,500 for each illegal robocall.
The problem is that most robocallers hide behind fake names, spoofed phone numbers, and anonymous operations, making it almost impossible for consumers to identify them.
That’s where technology - and increasingly AI - comes in.
Tools like DoNotPay created a virtual credit card system designed to uncover the real identity of spam callers. When a robocaller tries to sell you something, you give them the virtual card. When they attempt to process the payment, the payment network reveals the business name, address, and phone number behind the call.
That information can then be used to automatically generate legal claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
One user reportedly turned this into a full-time strategy, earning nearly $100,000 from robocall lawsuits.

Ti chiamano con un numero “06”, ti propongono offerte imperdibili su luce, gas o telefonia... e spesso finisci per sottoscrivere un contratto che non volevi!
E non mancano le truffe bancarie: falsi operatori
dell’”ufficio antifrode” che ti convincono a fare un bonifico verso i truffatori.
Mai dare dati personali o bancari al telefono!
Ne ho parlato con @lucabarbarossa a Radio2 Social Club @rairadio2 : dietro queste chiamate c’è un enorme business e troppi consumatori finiscono raggirati.
