Make Seamoss Gel 🪸
• Soak dried seamoss in water with a squeeze of lime juice overnight.
• Rinse, blend with fresh water, and store in the fridge (or freeze in ice cube trays).
Ingredients:
• 1 cup juice (any fruit juice you like)
• 2 tbsp agar agar powder
• 3 tbsp seamoss gel
• 1 tbsp honey (or agave/maple syrup)
• Juice of ½ lime
• (Optional) Sugar + citric acid for coating
Steps:
-In a small pot, mix juice, agar agar, honey, and lime juice.
-Let the mixture bloom for 10 minutes (this helps agar activate).
-Gently simmer over low heat — don’t boil!
-Add seamoss gel and stir until everything is completely dissolved.
-Pour into gummy molds and let set in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
-Once firm, pop them out of the molds.
-(Optional) Just before eating, coat in sugar + citric acid for a tangy finish — but do this last minute so they stay firm! 🍋Storage:
🧊 Keep gummies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
