This one is about love 💛 Since being in South Africa, Nayla has been obsessed with corn samoosas— so Nani did what grandmothers do best and made them from scratch, just for her. From folding each samosa with care to handing the first one to her favourite little girl… this moment was everything. Corn & Cheese Samoosas (Nani’s Way): 🌽 Sweet corn 🧀 Grated cheese 🧅 Finely chopped onion 🧂 Salt (to taste) 🌶️ Optional green chilies Mix everything together. Seal samoosas with a simple flour + water paste. Shallow fry (or deep fry) until golden and crispy. Cheese Samoosa Makes 16 large or 24 small samoosas - 1 cup Mozarella cheese ( grated ) 1 cup Gouda cheese ( grated ) 1 cup White Cheddar Cheese Grated ( grated ) 1/2 cup Danish Feta Cheese ( cubed ) 1 teaspoon coursely ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs 2 teaspoons dry green coriander or fresh chopped 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste Coursely crushed fresh green chillies Aromat to taste - Mix all the ingredients together. Fill into samoosa wrap. I used the @fatimasfavouritefoods samoosa wraps here. Freeze. Defrost fully before frying in hot oil until golden and done. Note: Keep turning the samoosa as it fries to avoid it bursting. . . . Variations: You can add a variety of these ingredients to this samoosa if you like: - Crushed whole kernal sweetcorn ( crushing them avoids bursting samoosas) - Spring onions, - Cubes white onions . . . #cheesesamoosa #cheese #cheesysamoosa #samoosa #ramadanrecipes #cheesesamoosatkg

Easy delicious sweetcorn & cheese samoosas😋Here’s how I make mine… Sweetcorn & Cheese Samoosa Recipe: 1/2 onion diced small 2 cloves garlic chopped finely 1tsp fresh thyme 1tsp chilli crunch 1/4tsp chilli powder 3cups frozen corn 3 cups grated Cheese (I prefer to use @lancewood.co.za cheddar) Salt & pepper to taste Add a drizzle of olive oil to a pan and fry the onions and garlic, once transparent add the sweetcorn with the above ingredients and let this cook until the corn is soft. Turn off the heat and let the sweetcorn fully cool down before mixing in the grated cheese (you can add less cheese, depending on your preference). Watch the video for the full steps on how to fold a samoosa. I used store bought samoosa pastry sheets. The ‘glue’ that I used to stick the samoosas is just a mix of flour and water to make a paste. You can then store these in an airtight container and freeze or fry and enjoy 😉 #samoosa #sweetcornandcheese #samosa #diwalirecipes #trishzdishz

It’s crunchy, it’s flavourful, and it’s hands-down my all-time favourite snack. I usually have pretty good self-control with snacks… but THESE? Zero. Absolutely none. I’m pretty sure I ate my weight in samoosas this weekend. The full recipe is below⬇️ Happy baking👩🏽‍🍳 Recipe: Chicken Samoosas Makes 30 Ingredients 1kg chicken pieces 2tsp chicken spice 1tsp garlic powder 1tsp garlic & herb spice 1tsp lemon pepper 1tsp salt 1 bay leaf A handful of fresh thyme 1L water 80g salted butter 60ml oil 2 onions, finely sliced 1/2Tbsp garlic 1/2Tbsp ginger 1/2Tbsp garum masala 1tsp coriander powder 1tsp cumin powder 1tsp dried coriander leaves 8-10 green chillies, diced 1tsp garlic & herb spice 2tsp chicken spice 1tsp salt A handful of fresh mint leaves, chopped (Continued in the comments) #samoosas #chickensamoosas #lunchboxideas #keshs_kitchen #lunch

Try it this ramadhaan and you wouldn't be disappointed 😉 Jalapeño Samoosas Recipe credits @aaminas__kitchen 📌Ingredients for filling 4 cups finely cubed chicken 2 tbsp butter / margarine 2 tsp oil 2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp whole cumin 1 tsp garlic paste .. .. 2 cup cheddar cheese 1 cup mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup chilli sauce 1 cup Jalapeño sauce 1 cup fresh chopped coriander 📌other ingredients you will need Samoosa Par Bread crumbs 1-2beaten eggs or thin flour paste. I used flour paste for the rest and I felt that the flour paste made it easier for the bread crumbs to stick on. 📍method Mix the chicken, margarine, oil lemon pepper, salt, cumin and garlic paste. Allow to cook on medium flame. Do not over dry. When cooked allow to cool completely then mix in the cheeses, sauces and chopped coriander. Fill like samoosa. Then dip in beaten eggs and coat in bread crumbs. You may freeze at this point. Deep fry on medium heat till golden on both sides. These are so delicious.. Drop a comment if you love this recipe of mine.. Jalapeno Chicken Samoosas: Reezwanah seedat 1 kg chicken fillet cubed 1 big onion grated /chopped fine 1 tsp lemon pepper 1 tsp aromat 3 to 4Tbl of lemon juice 2 tsp green chilli garlic paste Crackle of black pepper 3 Tbl chilli sauce 1 bottle jalapeno sauce (I used woolies brand) 2 cups white cheese 2 cups yellow cheese Half cup of chopped jalapenos (optional) Chopped dhania (coriander) Method 1. Saute the onion till light soft and golden 2 . Add in the chicken and all the spices . (Adjust spices, chilli as preferred) 3. Once cooked set aside to cool. 4. Add the grated cheese, chilli sauce and jalapeno sauce when chicken is completely cool. Mix well. 5. Lastly add a handful of chopped coriander 6. Fill into samoosa pastry, dip in egg and breadcrumbs. 7. Samoosas are ready to freeze. 8. Fry in shallow oil and serve with chilli sauce. Ingredients: 2 tbsp butter 1 onion, finely diced 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 green chillies, finely chopped (add more for extra heat) 1½ cups sweetcorn Salt to taste 2 tbsp chopped coriander 1½ cups cheddar cheese, grated 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, grated 250g samoosa pur Method: 1. Sauté onions, cumin seeds, and chillies in butter until soft and translucent. 2. Add sweetcorn and salt, then remove from heat to cool. 3. Mix in chopped coriander and both cheeses. 4. Fill samoosa pur with the mixture and seal with a flour-water paste. 5. Fry until golden and crispy. 6.
