DRThis is the number 1 mistake I see in patients with low back pain and sciatica:
They keep wanting to stretch away the pain. But stretching causes more problems because nerves HATE stretch!
So instead of trying to stretch away the pain, we take our patients through a 3 phase process to get long term relief.
1) Reset pain levels through movements and treatment that will reduce inflammation
2) Addressing the root issues that led to the injury in the first place.
3) Building strength in the key muscles around the injury to lock in long-term results.
Without these 3, you will keep trying to stretch away the pain, but ultimately not get any lasting results.
