YECat 623K Elevating Scraper
From the center of that machine forward, it’s the same as a Cat 621 or 627. The back end with the bowl is, what‘s called the Elevating - or Paddle Wheel Scraper.
Since there‘s a huge hydraulically driven chain mechanism at the front of the bowl, it unloads itself differently than other Scrapers. Instead of having an ejector that pushes the dirt out, it retracts its floor and the dirt falls off the bottom.
