STIf this wasn’t going on for months, I would have said that @setactive needed time to right size their production but given that this continues to be the move…. It has to be something else. If it’s not? Then PR isn’t managing this well because there should be formal comms that give customers transparency that the next 3 drops still have small inventory but we are committed and in the 4th you will start to see things get better…
The founder addressed the first few times it happened but running a 2 day pop up with an influencer event kick off teaser that then can only last 2 hours is such a miss.
The company is also valued at 22M so purchasing the raw materials upfront isn’t the issue either ….
ANYWAY on a more positive note, it’s an amazing opportunity for other brands to step forward because the consumer is clearly there.
