Jumpers and tarantulas have very similar “paws.” The main differences are that rather than actual scapulae like tarantulas have (dense pads of adhesive hairs) jumpers just have tufts of setae (special little hairs) that basically act as a microscopic Velcro, allowing them to climb basically anything and cling to surfaces better than tarantulas. Other than that key difference, both jumpers and tarantulas have two retractable claws and their toes are very similar in look! 💜
