Both single arm dumbbell rows and single arm cable rows have been a staple exercise during my years of training. I did notice a huge difference when I started doing single arm cable rows compared to single arm dumbbell rows. They both are effective and contribute to muscle growth, but I started to see my back change a lot more when I focused on getting the stretch and keeping resistance through the eccentric and the concentric phase using the single arm cable row. Mind muscle connection is key! Comment “coach” if you need more help when it coming to effective lifting for better results.
