BAThere are only two paths left for software engineers:
Path A: the cracked engineer
Deep systems knowledge. AI. Building from scratch. Fixing hard bugs. Shipping things other people literally can’t.
Path B: the product engineer
Strong coding + deep domain knowledge. You understand users, products, and outcomes. These engineers become founders.
Everything else? Obsolete.
AI doesn’t replace engineers who go deep.
It replaces the ones who stay shallow.
