I recently came across Solid Perfumes. Luckily I got this Vanilla scented one for under ₹300 , makes you smell like a cupcake. It’s made up of 100% natural ingredients like beeswax & avocado oil , so can be used as a lipbalm as well.
Solid perfumes don’t evaporate as liquid perfumes so they’re said to be more long lasting than the latter.

HOHow to make a travel friendly solid perfume!
(This recipe will fill one 1/2oz aluminum tins)
Ingredients:
1.25 tbsp refined beeswax
2 tbsp carrier oil (coconut, sweet almond, or olive oil— I used coconut oil)
1.25 tbsp jojoba oil
10-15 drops essential oil
Instructions:
1. In a heatproof bowl, combine beeswax, carrier oil, and jojoba oil.
2. Set the bowl over a double boiler and heat until the beeswax is completely melted, stirring occasionally to ensure everything blends well.
3.Once the wax is fully dissolved, remove the bowl from heat.
4. Add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil to the mixture. Stir well to combine. Start with 10 drops for a lighter fragrance, and if you prefer a more intense scent, you can go up to 15 drops.
5. Quickly pour the mixture into a tin container before it starts setting. (If it begins to set, just warm it up again!)
6. Let it cool completely, and your solid perfume is ready to use 🫶

Cherry-almond isn't a natural dead body scent but it is often scent-note* blend that is comparable to one of the masking notes inside of an enbalming fluid. That compound is called benzeldehyde, and it is often used in foods and can also naturally be found in some plants (Hyacinth, cypress, patchouli, etc). and fruits (apples, peaches, cherries, etc).
It sounds less exciting when you word it this way but one thing that is set in stone (pun #2) is that cherry-almond isn't a natural dead body scent.. but the benzeldehyde compound that give it the cherry-almond-esque vibes can be found in many perfumes, foods, flavorings, plants, fruits and yes, in some enbalming fluids.
My personal-personal opinion: It doesn't smell gassy either 😂 It's really nice. I really do hope this was helpful, I get so many comments, it's a little hard to respond to everyone, so I just added it here in the captions. If you're still spooked about Lost Cherry, I recommend just smelling a sample bottle at your nearby mall so you don't have to spend money.
