SOJames McAvoy’s performance in Split is an absolute masterclass in versatility. Watching him seamlessly transition into the persona of „Hedwig,“ a 9-year-old boy, is both strangely amusing and deeply unsettling. The sheer terror in Anya Taylor-Joy’s eyes when she realizes her captor is a child trapped in a man’s body is brilliant. The way he casually talks about eating a hot dog right after warning them about the „awful things“ that are going to happen to them gives you instant chills. His creepy explanation of „stealing the light“ from the other personalities perfectly sets up the psychological nightmare of this movie. 🎬🤯
Which of his many personalities in this film gave you the biggest chills? Let’s discuss in the comments! 👇
