Katharina lebt seit über 10 Jahren mit der Diagnose Multiple Sklerose (#MS). Mit der Verschlechterung ihrer Symptome erhielt sie 2014 die Diagnose der sekundär progredienten MS, kurz #SPMS. Zwar treten keine Schübe mehr auf, doch die Krankheit schreitet weiter fort. Erkennbar wird dies an Symptomen wie z.B. Konzentrationsstörungen, Blasenschwäche, Fatigue oder einer verminderten Gehstrecke. 🚶 Derzeit ist Katharina für kurze Strecken bis zu 200 Meter auf einen Gehstock angewiesen und nutzt bei Familienurlauben oder Wochenendausflügen einen Rollstuhl.
