The Stashbusting Hot Water Bottle Cover is a simple moss stitch crochet pattern, with a ribbed neck to keep your bottle neck cosy. Written in two sizes, to fit a standard 2 litre hot water bottle or a 750ml mini bottle, all you need is approx 250m/273yds of DK/light worsted yarn (for the larger size). Comment PROTECT and I'll send you the link to the pattern!!! 🤘 Have you ever noticed that being able to crochet can come in handy in the most random moments??? 🤣 I was packing up our camper and realized that our pots and pans might end up banging around as we drove down the road and thought "maybe I could crochet something to keep that from happening..." 🤔🤔🤔 That's how this pattern was born!! They are great for putting between pots, pans, glass bowls and more during storage, moving, etc! I used @hoooked.zpagetti Spesso Cotton (a super bulky weight yarn) and a 9mm hook to make these and they are PERFECT for stash busting and for making as gifts for housewarming parties, weddings, or for the avid bakers and cooks in your life!! This month was not great for my stash busting 🫢 Ad // some of the yarn and patterns were gifted DISCLAIMER I feel extremely lucky to be able to work with so many nice yarns. I know not everyone is able to afford that. I wouldn’t either, if I wasn’t getting some of it for free to test knit and make designs with ❤️ I focused a lot on my own designs this month, which also meant receiving a lot of yarn, so my stash has grown considerably already 😅 Luckily, I still have all year to get it back down to a reasonable size ✨ Projects shown (in order): 🤍 #mistycardigan by me (in testing) 🖤 #serenescarf by @iknitknitwear 💗 #eclairsocks by @thebakingknitter (feat. my own handdyed yarn!) 💙 #sereneslipover by @iknitknitwear ✨ #cassiopeiahat x2 by me (in testing) And the plans: ❤️ the red yarn in the video was originally for a new design.
