Hairdressers, we need to talk. Stop giving your clients ash hair ( 9.1. ) And clients, this one’s for you too… stop asking for “ash blonde” when that’s not actually what you want. Here’s the truth: 95% of the time, when a client says “ash blonde” What they really mean is: • bright • clean • white • iridescent • icy Not flat. Not dull. Not muddy. Ash toners do one thing very well… They absorb warmth. Which means: • they make the hair look darker • they kill brightness • they can leave the blonde looking flat and muddy And that’s why you’re not getting that “expensive blonde” finish. The brighter the blonde looks… The more light it reflects. And light reflects off warmth. This is where most hairdressers get it wrong. And it all comes back to one thing: Your formulation. We are not using the same toners we were 10–15 years ago. We are creating bespoke, customised blondes based on: • the level of lift • underlying pigment • skin tone • desired finish And most importantly… what the client actually means (not just what they say) Because “ash blonde” is not a result. It’s a miscommunication. Consultation is everything. We do a lot of long services so lateness really affects not only your appointment but anyone booked after you. We appreciate a lot of our clients travel from out of town but we have put measures in place to accommodate as best as possible such as opening later so you’re not stuck in 9am traffic. Please plan your journeys in advance🤍 ✨A heavy no from us. We tailor make our colours based on our clients needs. We dont believe in one shade suits all. ✨Open air balayage on dark hair spells ORANGE, BRASSINESS & loads of ‘toners’ to cancel out the orange that shouldve never happened🙈 ✨Yep still no men around here😘 Only if theyre paying your bill xxx
