GRPeter Dinklage (born June 11, 1969, in New Jersey) is an American actor and producer — best known worldwide for playing Tyrion Lannister on the hit series Game of Thrones (2011–2019).
He studied drama at Bennington College and worked in theatre before breaking through with his acclaimed leading role in the independent film The Station Agent (2003).
Despite being born with achondroplasia (a form of dwarfism), Dinklage refused stereotypical roles — and his perseverance, integrity, and talent reshaped how many view difference and ability.
