NAStreaming services have completely obliterated the classic cable format and here is why it’s problematic. Stations that we used to be able to watch for free- like in basic television is not as easily accessible with new tvs, the switch from analog to digital, antennas that aren’t always able to pick up all stations, etc. You used to be able to plug in your TV and be able to get the basic stations - no other equipment needed. Now almost everything requires some sort of subscription like Hulu live TV package. And when streaming service first began, it was affordable and everything was all in one place. Which made subscribing to cable obsolete. You used to also be able to bundle your cable with your Internet and your phone which also made things just a little bit more affordable. Now we pay for our phones, our Internet and our television programming separately. While there are some exceptions and some may able to get access to discounts and promotions- this isn’t the truth for everyone. It also can effect impoverished communities or those who are disconnected like some native territories. This business model is damaging for more than just the cable industry, but we’ve seen it with transportation as well. And in my opinion, it is one of the biggest capital of Scams that we’ve all been conditioned to believe is OK. #streaming #native #nativeamerican #netflix

ITThese the three underrated YouTube channels that i think you should watch :)
The first one is my favourite, she is so unapologetic, funny and articulate in all of her videos. Only problem I have is that she doesn’t make a lot of videos (she’s employed)
I would highly recommend watching this second channel for feminist content, it’s not just privileged women sharing opinions, but women from different backgrounds. The topics are so interesting.
The third one I recently discovered, it’s just a guy cooking, cleaning, doing work, living? It’s comforting to me. And I hope you’d like it too :)
