Most people focus on how to start a meal, but very few know the right way to finish it. A small detail that speaks volumes about your dining etiquette is what you do with your napkin when you’re done eating. Instead of leaving it on the chair or crumpling it on the table, the correct way is to place the napkin neatly on the left side of your plate. It’s a subtle signal that you’ve finished your meal and shows polished table manners. Save this for your next dinner and follow for more simple dining etiquette tips that make a big difference❤️ (Table manners, table etiquette’s, adults dining etiquette’s, foodies, food reels, dining etiquette’s, eating habits, eating manners) #lifeskills #socialskills #foodie #diningetiquette #tablemanners

Did you know there’s a correct side to approach and leave the dining table? I always teach my clients: enter and exit from the right, it’s a small gesture that speaks volumes about your poise and awareness. It’s the details like this that truly set you apart in professional and social settings. …………………… #DiningEtiquette #TableManners #howtoenterthetable #etiquettewithmissmina #ladyofdecorum #etiquetteconsultant #etiquette #properetiquette #Etiquette101 #EtiquetteTips #finediningtips

Your cutlery speaks it's own quiet language. Time to learn it. When you’re still eating, rest your knife and fork inside the plate: knife blade facing inwards, fork tines pointing down. This tells your host or waiter you haven’t finished yet. Once you’re done, place your knife and fork together in the “6.30 position” (handles at the bottom, tips pointing towards the top of the plate). That simple shift politely signals: “Thank you, I’ve finished.” #tablemanners #diningetiquette #cutleryetiquette #tablemannersmatter #TeaAndEtiquette

Dining Etiquette Tip✨ High-value people notice small details. If someone asks for salt, pass salt and pepper together. That’s the standard in formal dining. Polish is quiet. But it’s powerful. Save this. Because class is practiced, not claimed. #réel #viral #dining #etiquette #table

Once you start using your utensils, they don’t go back on the table and that includes not resting the handles. This prevents dressings and sauces from transferring to the table cloth or table itself and also makes for easier clearing. 🍽️ For more dining etiquette tips and so much more, my new (and fun!) etiquette book, Was it Something I Said? is available now wherever books are sold. 💛📚 sweater: @loveshackfancy #etiquette #diningetiquette #tablemanners #manners #palmbeach

Most people never notice their elbows when they eat… but everyone around them does. When your elbows drift outward while cutting or lifting your fork, it breaks your posture and takes up more space than you realize. A refined diner keeps their elbows gently tucked in — compact, controlled, and aware of those seated nearby. It’s a small adjustment that communicates confidence, composure, and grace with every movement. Try it during your next meal and see how different it feels. Follow for more etiquette tips to help you move with intention and refinement. #EtiquetteTips #TableManners #DiningEtiquette #ElegantLiving #ModernEtiquette #MannersMatter #JackieVernonThompson #EtiquetteExpert #EtiquetteForKids #EtiquetteTraining #EtiquetteConsultant #etiquettetips #tableetiquette #diningetiquette

Can you read a menu without opening it?🫣 Before the first course arrives… the table is already telling you what’s coming.🤓 In formal dining, cutlery is placed in the order of use; from the outside in. Each fork, knife, and spoon is a quiet preview of the experience ahead. See a smaller fork on the outside? That’s likely your starter. Multiple knives? More than one course will be served. A spoon at the top? (English Etiquette) Dessert is already planned. Cutlery is not random. It is structured. Intentional. Most people wait the menu. Refined guests already know.😉 If you’re ready to learn the unspoken rules of refined dining, type READY and I’ll send you the link to show you how. ☺️ #manners #diningetiquette #maincourse #etiquettepersonnalisee #timelesselegance
