DIDid you know you can create your own countdown timer inside your editing software?
Video is simply layers of images, some that move and some that are static images, audio, and some effects. So when it comes to creating elements for your videos or live streams, get creative!
This is my latest live stream countdown timer I made in Final Cut Pro X.
The bottom layer is the music. (If you ever burned your own CDs back in the day, you got this step down already lol)
The next later is the background video that's on a loop.
Then the audiogram type image that's reacting to the music itself. (There are plenty of apps and plugins available, just search audiograms.)
The final layer is the actual time itself.
My previous countdown screen was very similar but it used some gifs that automatically repeated because that's the nature of a GIF, it loops. (It's a moving image..and it's pronounced like GIFT, GIF, not JIF lol)
But get creative with your live streams by adding in some creative elements...it is a video after all.
