We have visited @tinytownsheffie — 🧡💚 TINY TOWN SOFTPLAY 💚🧡 On Tuesday we were invited to the open day of @tinytownsoftplaycafe in Chesterfield. We have visited @tinytownsheffield before and absolutely loved it so was so excited to have the opportunity to visit their new location of softplay & role play cafe in the heart of chesterfield. It’s so clean and tidy, the toys are brand new and the soft play was brilliant!! As you walk in you go into a lovely cafe, and then through the double doors to the play area which has a lovely soft play at the left hand side and 4 role play sections on the right hands side. The role play consists of; 🍦 ice cream parlour 🐶 vets 🏠 home 🍏 Market 👶🏼 There’s also a baby area with toys The softplay has an under 2’s area, trampoline, 2 slides and so much to explore. The girls had the best time enjoying both the softplay and role play sections. This is a perfect mix of play areas as it incorporates the two, allowing children to run free and burn off energy but also be creative, imaginative and encourage independent play. The food and coffee is so delicious here too. I got a hazelnut latte & a tuna panini, Mia got a spaghetti hoops with toast. 😋 This place truly is a gem, and they’ve worked so so hard!! We were pleasantly surprised when we had the centre to ourselves for th — If there’s one theme in the activities we pick, it’s that I don’t like crowds. We were pleasantly surprised when we had the centre to ourselves for the morning Tiny Town Children’s Discovery Centre @tinytownguelph 📍66 Arrow Rd Unit D Guelph, ON 💵: It is $13.50/child with one accompanying adult free ($6 for an additional adult) This centre is great for young kids. The 2 year old & 4 year old in the group had a blast. Their website suggests 6 or younger & I definitely would say it will be a fun time for kindergarten or younger (maybe 5) Remember to bring socks. They do have some for purchase if you forget What we loved: ✅Variety of toys— we were told that toys come in/out in rotation to be cleaned so there is usually a variety ✅Quiet - with no one else there we lucked out w/ a private experience & a family coming in only as we left ✅Clean- the toys were all clean, the washrooms too (1 on each floor, lower level has a change table). We were told they clean floors and surfaces daily ✅Signs for a nut free facility- as we were the only ones there, it’s hard to tell if this was enforced ✅ Bench seating for adults ✅ Ample Parking What you may want to consider 🤔 The stuffies in the vet hospital were a bit worn. This doesn’t matter to kids but some looked like they had been loved very much 🤔 We were there for ~2 hrs & the benches can get uncomfortable if sitting for too long (probably a good reason to get moving & playing w/ the kiddos) 🤔 If your kiddo don’t like pretend play this may not be the place for you. There isn’t playground equipment or climbing apparatus but still fun Overall we had a great time. The quiet atmosphere let us have adult conversations & let my shy kids be bold in exploring things. The hits were the vet hospital, the house & the diner/market upstairs. It’s affordable & a great place to go on a rainy day or an option when you don’t want to be outside. While we aren’t local to the area, I’d suggest checking it out if you’re around Guelph! Another new one! I don't know how I stumbled across this but Tiny Town Chesterfield have a new site with both role play and soft — TINY TOWN SOFT PLAY Another new one! I don’t know how I stumbled across this but Tiny Town Chesterfield have a new site with both role play and soft play! The soft play is so good, it has things other soft plays don’t like a little climbing wall and we must have spend half an hour pushing large excercise balls through the tunnel. The role play is also great, obviously smaller than their other site as this has both role play and soft play but it has everything you need and the farm area is cute. There is also an area for babies. There is a café and we had a delicious piece of cake and they small snacks/ meals. Would definitely recommend it’s a win win!
