DRFrom an orthopedic standpoint, toe spacers can reduce pain, improve comfort, and temporarily improve toe spacing by stretching soft tissue and decreasing pressure. They’re great as a symptom-relief tool, especially when paired with proper footwear and foot-strengthening exercises.
That said, they don’t permanently straighten toes once there’s a true structural or bony deformity. Any alignment you see usually disappears when the spacer comes off unless it’s part of a broader plan.
Bottom line: useful for comfort and mobility, not a standalone fix. Think of them as a supportive tool—not a cure.
