During the winter months, my main training goal is building a strong aerobic base. This involves focusing on metabolism, increasing the number of mitochondria, and improving their efficiency. To achieve this, I prioritize maintaining the highest sustainable workload, without focusing too much on specific training routines.
Workload is a mix of volume and intensity. While high-intensity sessions are more time-efficient, low to medium-intensity training at a high volume results in a greater overall workload. That’s why my winter training emphasizes high-volume activities. I spend most of my time ski mountaineering and keep running sessions short, just to maintain the movement.
To monitor my progress, I use @corosglobal to track my weekly training load (TL). This helps ensure my workload is consistent—not so high that it becomes unsustainable, but not too low to limit adaptations.

RIDie neue 3D-Flyover Video Funktion ist ab sofort beim Update der COROS App verfügbar. Ihr könnt die aufgenommen Bilder direkt in der App hochladen die dann automatisch an die Stelle platziert werden, von eurem Lauf.
Ich hab mich hier ein bisschen ausprobiert bei meinem 4x5k Workout.
Besonderheit hier ist die gesperrte Straße, für Autos am Wochende, wo ich meine Läufe somit ungestört absolvieren konnte.
Ein- und ausgelaufen bin ich am anliegenden dichten Wald.
Mit der 3D-Flyober-Funktion werde ich euch in Zukunft sicher noch ein bisschen mehr zeigen. Denn ich liebe meine Strecken im Training.
Am besten mit Radbegleitung natürlich, damit die schönen Momente auch eingefangen werden.
