✅1. Non-sedating antihistamine (first-line):
⛑Tab. Cetirizine 10 mg – 1 tablet orally once daily
(alternative: Loratadine 10 mg OD / Fexofenadine 180 mg OD)
2. If symptoms not controlled:
⛑Increase dose up to Cetirizine 10 mg twice daily (max 20 mg/day in adults)
• OR switch/add another non-sedating antihistamine.
3. If itching is severe at night:✍️
⛑Tab. Hydroxyzine 25 mg – 1 tablet orally at bedtime
(caution: causes drowsiness, avoid driving/alcohol)
4. For resistant cases (short course):
• Tab. Prednisolone 20 mg – once daily after breakfast for 5 days, then stop
(only for acute severe urticaria; avoid long-term use)
5. Supportive advice:👍
• Avoid known triggers (foods, NSAIDs, alcohol, tight clothing).
• Apply cool compresses, calamine lotion for local relief.
• Keep a symptom diary to identify triggers.
6. 🥼Emergency instructions (if swelling of lips/tongue, difficulty breathing, dizziness):
🫵Go to ER immediately; may need IM Adrenaline (0.3–0.5 mg of 1:1000 solution).

🚪La puerta de entrada más frecuente son los pies, pero podemos encontrar lesiones en manos, dedos y glúteos también.
👩🏽⚕️El diagnóstico es clínico, puede ocasionar rascado intenso pues la larva se arrastra a través de la piel😖 avanzando de 2-5 centímetros por día.
👆🏼En ocasiones puede haber sobre infección con bacterias, y requerir además de antiparasitarios, antibióticos también.
