When you only have 20 minutes, you show up with focus and intensity. There’s a time pressure you have of GETTING IT DONE. No scrolling. No wasted time. Just work. A few sets of dumbbells and bands. No wasted time on travel to and from the gym. All from home and a plan to follow. The truth is…. Not everyone is a home workout person! It’s so key to have self awareness around your personal needs. My current physique is so much stronger and leaner than when u was exhausting myself at a gym - teaching multiple fitness classes a day. Here are my top 3 tips for creating incredible results at home - no gym required! 1. Choose workouts that you actually enjoy. Sounds simple right? You are more likely to stick with a routine if the workout leaves you feeling energized and inspired. If you hate cycling (no offense Peleton) no amount of discipline will keep you riding long term. Sustainable results are best achieved when you work with your personal preferences. 2. Set up a sacred space for your workouts. Secure a spot in your schedule for the class and show up like it’s an appointment. Even if you are doing recordings - create that accountability with yourself. 3. If you need an extra layer of accountability and coaching - join a coaching group where workouts are woven into the program and you have the guidance, structure and support you need. I have been training exclusively at home for about 6 years now and my results have never been better.
