SEBack with Part II of my home studio breakdown. This go round, I’ll focus on the computer monitors and the stream deck controller. Type the words “SHOW ME” in the comments and I’ll DM you a direct link to my equipment list where you can check everything out!
My monitor setup isn’t anything special, just a pair of LG 4K 27” monitors on a dual desktop monitor mount with swivel arms. The monitors can be arranged vertically if needed as well.
The Stream Deck is where the magic happens. You can customize it as far your imagination can take you.
On my side, I have pages for my lights, apps, often visited web sites, Zoom controls, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, DaVinci editing pages, Ecamm control and a lot more stuff.
The main reason I use it is to speed up processes. When editing, sometimes a shortcut might be two or three buttons, but with the Stream Deck, I can map that shortcut sequence to one button.
Hope this helps someone.
