DA🎥🎬: Universal Basic Guys (2024)
When the government launches a nationwide Universal Basic Income program, two lifelong underachievers see it not as a safety net, but as early retirement.
At the center are best friends Mark and Hank, ordinary suburban guys who have mastered the art of doing the bare minimum. When their factory jobs are automated and replaced by AI, they expect life to fall apart. Instead, monthly checks start rolling in.
No boss. No alarm clocks. No responsibility.
At first, it feels like freedom. They dive into ridiculous business ideas, half baked inventions, and absurd get rich quick schemes, all while insisting they are “entrepreneurs” now. Their families are skeptical. Their neighborhood is changing. And the world around them is quietly evolving faster than they are.
As society adapts to automation, shifting work culture, and new definitions of purpose, Mark and Hank struggle with an unexpected problem. Without work, who are they?
Universal Basic Guys is a sharp animated comedy about identity, laziness, friendship, and what happens when survival is guaranteed but ambition is not.
Because sometimes the hardest thing to figure out is not how to live.
It is why.
