CHProject 75 Day 25: I wish I didn’t go to UofT. Here’s why 👇

1. I missed out on living alone. Seeing all my high school friends go out on their ones and learn to live by themselves gives me a little fomo. The things you learn when you live by yourself is undeniably a time where you experience the most growth. However, I did save tons of money not moving out and all those things I’ll end up learning anyways.
2. I would’ve had a higher gpa. Some courses at UofT were just unnecessarily difficult. Talking to my friends from other universities and hearing their stories about their classes, I genuinely believe that if I went to another university, I would’ve have ended up with a higher gpa. Especially now, understanding that the name of the university you go to holds little to no weight, I definitely would have thought harder about going to an “easier” university.
3. Struggled with imposter syndrome. UofT is a world renowned university, one of the top universities in Canada and is known worldwide. Because of this, the top talent from around the world end up here. I struggled a lot with imposter syndrome, feeling like I was not doing enough after hearing all the stories and things other students were doing. No matter what I was doing, there was always someone who was doing more. However, being at UofT was essential for me to discover a way to overcome this challenge.
