map() function basically applies a function to each item of a sequence like list or tuple — super useful when you're working with repetitive operations.

🔹 map(function, iterable)
map() takes a function and an iterable (like list, tuple).
It applies the function to each item of the iterable.
Returns a map object, which you can convert to list/tuple.
📌 Example:
numbers = [1, 2, 3, 4]
result = map(lambda x: x * 2, numbers)
print(list(result)) # Output: [2, 4, 6, 8]
🚨 Note: map() doesn’t modify the original list.

Functions in Python are blocks of code that perform a specific task.
Instead of writing the same code again and again, you can put it inside a function and just “call” it whenever needed.
Think of a function like a machine: you give it some input, it does some work, and then it gives you an output.

♦️ | Makes programs easier to read.
♦️ | Keeps code organized.
👉 | How to Define a Function in Python?
We use the def keyword:
def greet():
print("Hello, welcome to Python!")
Here:

♦️ | greet → is the function name.
♦️ | Inside, we wrote what the function should do.
👉 | Calling the Function
To use (or call) the function, just write its name followed by ():
greet()
