📍 Stop 1: Zion National Park
Zion is one of the most beautiful places w — 🚘 USA Roadtrip You NEED To Do ONCE In Your Life! Via 📸 @ultimatevacationn 📍 Stop 1: Zion National Park Zion is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been! The 2 hikes we did here were The Watchman Trail and Scout’s Lookout (which were both AMAZING!)😍 Zion’s also home to Angel’s Landing and the Narrows which are both worth checking out! 📍 Stop 2: Horseshoe Bend This is more of a quick stop and it’s not a far walk at all to see the actual bend in the river. We found Horseshoe on social media and expected to be let down, but when you actually walk up and see how big it is, it’s really amazing to see!😮 📍 Stop 3: Monument Valley If you want to go to the exact spot in our video, make sure to put Forest Gump Point into your GPS! It’s also located on the Utah/Arizona border🏜️ 📍 Stop 4: Arches National Park If you’re not a hiker this is a great park for you! It’s a beautiful drive throughout the park with a very diverse landscape and there’s a lot of viewpoints along the way👀 If you ARE a hiker definitely do the Delicate Arch Trail (that was our favorite!) 📍 Stop 5: Dead Horse Point State Park This kind of reminded us of a different version of Horseshoe Bend (but with Canyonlands National Park in the distance!) It’s definitely worth checking out both if you have the time🌵 📍 Stop 6: Canyonlands National Park This is another great national park to visit if you’re NOT a hiker, there are a ton of awesome overlooks and viewpoints to see. Our favorite was Grand View Point!🤩 (We unfortunately didn’t get to hike here because we got a late start to the day, but it looked like they had some gorgeous trails) ‼️ If you plan on doing this roadtrip GET THE ANNUAL PARK PASS! (if you’re going to 3 parks or more) It will save you a lot of money in the long run💵 Annual park passes do NOT work at Dead Horse Point or Horseshoe Bend Have you been on this roadtrip? Alternate Route: 🚙 If you’d rather hit Utah’s Mighty 5 National Parks instead of a bit of Northern Arizona, this is absolutely possible! I couldn't p — 👇HOW TO FIND IT👇 If you’re like me and on a mission to drive all the musical roads while traveling in the United States (there are 4!) I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to drive this HIDDEN musical highway just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico on Route 66. Here’s how to get there and what to know: 🎵Literally just type “musical highway Albuquerque” into Google Maps, or “Rock Canyon Cider.” 🎵Drive toward the pin going East on Route 333 (the old Route 66) alongside highway 40. 🎵Nearly all the signs for the musical road have been taken down, so you have to look very carefully for it. 🎵From Route 333/Route 66, look for the blue Exit 175 sign on highway 40 and when you see it (between mile markers 4 and 5), look for white spray paint on the road. 🎵When you see the spray paint, align your right wheel with the paint and the road lines. You have to drive as straight as you can along the line! 🎵You must drive at/around precisely 45 mph (cruise control!). 🎵Roll down your windows! The musical highway is no longer maintained and has even been paved over a bit, so it’s a bit faint. Our favorite spots here are Artists Palette, Badwater Basin, Mesquite Sand Dunes, and Zabriskie Point!🤩 📍 Stop 2: Las Vegas You need to go here at least once and it can be a little break from nature during your roadtrip! There’s so much to see and it’s a lot of fun to walk around all the themed hotels. Also, it’s not named one of the best food destinations in the world for no reason!🍱 📍 Stop 3: Zion National Park This is one of our favorite national parks and if you’ve never been you need to go! Our favorite trails were Scouts Lookout and The Watchman trail🥾 📍 Stop 4: Horseshoe Bend This is one of the only quick stops we found on social media expecting to be let down, BUT it was so cool! The video doesn’t even do it justice, it’s huge and the colors are AMAZING especially if you go for sunset/sunrise🌅 ‼️ If you plan on doing this roadtrip GET THE ANNUAL PARK PASS!
