DAHow to use the power of visualization. Not in theory, but in real life.
That’s what this clip from @theovon unlocked for me. He said something I’d heard before but never like this:
-> “…your brain can’t fully tell the difference between something that happens in real life… and something you vividly imagine.”
That’s the psychology behind visualization. It’s why athletes, CEOs, and elite performers use this practice because when you consistently rehearse something in your mind, your body and emotions start responding like it’s already true.
I’ve used it without even realizing. Before big sales days. Before speaking gigs. Before moments I wasn’t sure I was ready for. I’d run through it mentally the sound, the feeling, the decision. And it works. You don’t just visualize to feel good. You visualize to prepare. To manifest confidence through repetition.
If you’re wondering how to start, don’t overthink it. There are proven visualization techniques but even something as simple as seeing your future self, writing out your ideal day, or walking yourself through the hard moment before it happens… that’s powerful. And if you need examples, just look at any high-performer you admire. They all do it.
And if you want quotes to hold onto, here’s one: “The mind doesn’t care if it’s real or imagined it builds belief either way.”
🎥 | Appreciate the reminder from @theovon . Visualization is a tool not a trend.
