The ‘Hurt So Good’ FASCIAL RELEASE ✨ The way my entire body responds to this 🤤 Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around everything. Your muscles, nerves, blood vessels, even your organs. When it’s healthy, it’s hydrated, elastic and responsive. When it gets sticky or restricted from stress, clenching, repetitive movement, emotional holding or simply time, it creates tension patterns in the body. And that tension causes problems. Sticky fascia can restrict circulation and lymph flow, dull sensation, limit movement and keep your nervous system on edge. Over time, that shows up as jaw tension, headaches, a heavy or tight feeling in the face, and yes, deeper lines and loss of softness as the tissues get pulled and compressed. But it also affects how you feel. Releasing fascia sends a signal of safety to the nervous system. Your body realises it doesn’t need to brace anymore. Breath deepens, the mind quietens, and you drop out of survival mode and back into presence. That’s why these releases can feel emotional, grounding or deeply relieving. And yes, it’s completely normal if this technique feels a bit sore. That “hurt so good” sensation happens because we’re waking up tissue that’s been under-stimulated or holding tension for a long time. You’re increasing blood flow, hydration and sensory input to areas that have been stuck. It should feel intense but relieving, never sharp or panicky. Ingredients: * 2 cups carrots, chopped * 2 cups celery ribs, thinly sliced * 2 zucchini, diced * 1 white onion, chopped * 3 garlic cloves, grated * 1 15 oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes * 1 can cannellini white beans or kidney beans, drained and rinsed * 2 cups chopped green beans * 4 cups vegetable broth (or chicken broth) * 2 bay leaves * 1/2 tbsp dried oregano & dried basil * 1/2 cup small pasta, elbows, shells, orecchiette * 1 tbsp dried or fresh parsley * Red pepper flakes * 1 teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste * Freshly ground black pepper * Grated Parmesan cheese, optional, for serving Instructions: * Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, big pinch of salt and saute one minute. Add carrots, celery, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes, until the vegetables begin to soften.
 * Add the garlic, tomatoes, beans, green beans and zucchini and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add in broth, bay leaves, oregano, and dried parsley or basil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
 * Stir in the pasta and cook, uncovered, for 10 more minutes, until the pasta is cooked through. * Season to taste and serve with parsley, red pepper flakes, and grated parmesan.
