So I did a thing… actually a few things. 👩🏽‍🍳 I’ve been in the wellness chef space for a long time, working with celebs on their nutrition and bringing healthy mindful meals and protocols to my clients. But I’ve wanted MORE. More expansion, more 1:1 time, more healing, more retreats and more community. SO, I took a leap and decided to become a Certified Nutrition Practitioner !! (CN-P) 👩🏽‍🎓I joined @kalediagnostics and their amazing @cnp.program Program and so far my experience has been beyond engaging & inspiring. 🧪 With this program and as a CN-P, I’ll be able to run functional labs on clients and curate advanced personalized nutrition and health protocols based off their unique bio-individuality. 🪬Basically as your Wellness guide we can dive deeeeeeep in getting you to that level where you feel like you are literally THRIVING ⚡️ 💥I can’t wait to share more on what’s to come with my wellness practice. My new website allows you to book 1:1 with me for peptides, nutrition and in home wellness cheffing / wellness room consulting and other experiences. ☀️I also have some INSANE summer opportunities for my wellness peeps in the LA area. But after working in holistic health and supporting women everyday with stress, energy and hormones, I’ve noticed something interesting: the simplest habits often create the biggest shifts. Here are a few that sound strange… but genuinely work. 🦶 Bare feet on the earth when you feel overwhelmed Grounding connects your body to the earth’s natural electrical charge, which may help calm the nervous system and reduce inflammation. 🎶 Humming or singing during the day Humming stimulates the vagus nerve - the pathway that tells your body it’s safe to relax. 🌿 Diffusing essential oils Your sense of smell connects directly to the emotional centre of the brain. Oils like lavender or citrus can help lower stress and shift your mood. 🫨 Shaking your body when stressed Animals shake to release tension. Humans store it. Even 20–30 seconds can help release stress from the body. 🪥 Dry brushing before a shower Stimulates circulation and lymphatic flow, helping the body move waste and reduce puffiness. 🤍 Placing one hand on your heart This simple gesture signals safety to the nervous system and helps shift out of fight-or-flight. 👂 Massaging your ears for 30 seconds Your ears contain vagus nerve points that can quickly calm the body. ✨ Lightly tapping your chest A somatic technique that can release stored tension and bring you back into the present moment. 😌 Closing your eyes for one minute A short pause from stimulation helps reset mental overwhelm. 🍽 Chewing your food slowly Digestion begins in the mouth.
