RESo how long does it take you to diffuse your hair?? 👀 to get it 100% dry? Anddddd what diffuser do you have? 😂🫶🏾 I’m not calling you out I just want to save you time girl! I use low speed and medium heat like 80% of the time and adjust the heat based on what their hair can handle.
I have a client that’s been seeing me doing on 4 years who cut her dry time from 40 to 8 minutes by getting a different diffuser. And she’s not getting frizz also 🫶🏾 I have my favorite diffusers on my Amazon storefront (to put them in one spot) but you can also buy them from Costco, Ulta, Sephora or wherever you get a good deal 😉

💨 because i get less wonky pieces compared to when i cup into a diffuser attachment
ALTERNATING BETWEEN ROOTS AND LENGTHS
💨 just what i like, some prefer to dry roots first but i like to switch
CUPPING WITH DIFFUSER BUT LEAVING MY ENDS OUT
💨 now i go in with the diffuser head and because i’ve let my hair set i have minimized the risk of it getting wonky. I leave my ends out because i prefer length over shrinkage
SCRUNCH WHEN 80% DRY
💨 speeds up drying time x5 and it gives me definition but also a bit of frizz so be aware of that
FOCUSING ON LAST STUBBORN PIECES
💨 and these are always the thickest curls i have to spend a bit more time with
this was a refresh and i diffused on almost exactly 10 minutes, on wash day i’m just under 15 minutes if i don’t use a lot of products

So today, let me share a quick and fun guide on how to get the most out of your reed diffuser.
Especially that one magic move: flipping the reeds. It can bring your scent game right back to its prime!

1. Don’t go reed-crazy right away
When you first open your diffuser, start with just 2-3 reeds. Test the scent strength first. If it’s too light, you can always add more. But if you go all in from the start, the smell might hit you like a perfume truck—and fade faster, too.
2. Flip those reeds, don’t forget!
It’s easy—just take the reeds out, flip them upside down, and stick them back in. Do this every 3-5 days. It refreshes the reeds and makes your room smell fab again. Like a mini scent-reset!
3. Location, location, location
Place your diffuser somewhere with good airflow—like your room entrance, bathroom, hallway, or bedside table. Just don’t put it under direct sun, right in front of an aircon, or under a fan unless you want your fragrance to evaporate like your willpower on a Monday morning.
4. Reeds don’t live forever
Each reed has a “scent lifespan” of about 1 to 2 months. After that, they get tired (don’t we all?) and stop absorbing oil properly. Time to swap in fresh ones!
5. Bonus hack: turn on the A/C
Cooler air helps spread the scent faster and makes it last longer. So go ahead—give your diffuser the five-star treatment! Hotel without air conditioning will not smell like hotel you know😂 cool air keep the scent circulating longer.
