A man approached a pack of wolves in Yellowstone National Park as visitors watched in horror from far away. Keith Allen Kerbs, who took video of the man, was taking pictures of the five wolves when the man walked toward the animals. At one point, he was spraying bear spray at the wolves, and eventually managed to escape. The National Park Service said there have been no reports of wolves attacking humans in Yellowstone, but has still advised visitors not to approach them. #yellowstone #yellowstonenationalpark #wolf #wolves

👀If You Think Yellowstone Is Just Pretty Views… Watch This. If you think Yellowstone is just postcard views and geysers… watch this. We witnessed the Wapiti Wolf Pack on a recent bison kill — and one wolf quietly carrying meat behind a tree to eat in peace. It may be hard for some to watch. But this is not cruelty. This is survival. After a successful kill, wolves can gain up to 40 pounds in just 1–2 days. They feast intensely because they don’t know when their next meal will come. Every calorie matters in the wild. This is the ecosystem working exactly as it was designed to. Yellowstone National Park isn’t a theme park. It’s raw. It’s balanced. It’s real. Predator. Prey. Respect the wild. Follow for real moments from inside Yellowstone. #Yellowstone #wolves #bison #kill #fyp

31 years to the day of when wolves were brought back to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem I was able to spend time with one that had recently passed. This very old wolf (still waiting to confirm age) was most likely around 8+ years old. Almost 3X the average age of most Wyoming wolves. As I sat with this animal I couldn’t help but wonder some basic life statistics of this incredible animal. How many miles did it travel? Did it have a mate? Had this wolf killed other wolves? Was it from a pack I’ve seen before? Did it ever defend a meal from a grizzly bear? Why did it pass right here? I most likely won’t know any of these answers. AND I’m thankful that I was able to spend just a moment with such an impressive creature. As a reminder if you find animal remains or parts of animals (antlers included) within a National Park you MUST leave them there! This wolf was in the National Park so that’s exactly what I did. I sad thank you to this wolf for being alive and left it in the wilds where all wolves belong. Alive or dead.

Yellowstone Said “Choose.🐺🐃 AI generated this nightmare scenario: I’m running from wolves in Yellowstone National Park… snow flying… dramatic music playing… And boom — straight into a herd of bison. Fun Facts: 🐃 Bison injure more people in Yellowstone than any other animal 🐺 Wolf encounters are rare 🚫 Running is NEVER the answer This is comedy. But wildlife safety is serious. Repost from BrooksBabbles (TikTok): Wolf crossing the road in Yellowstone National Park. 🐺 It was the most incredible morning working in Yellowstone National Park **--** A seasonal Yellowstone worker captured a gray wolf calmly crossing a park road, noting she’s worked in the park for two summers but has rarely seen wolves this close. Gray Wolves were absent from the park for nearly 70 years before reintroduction began in 1995. And today their growing numbers are already reshaping the ecosystem, from keeping overgrazing elk and deer in-check to supporting scavengers like ravens and coyotes. This video is a reminder that seeing a wolf simply acting like a wolf is both moving and ecologically important. Take action for wolves today at TeamWolf.Org!

Sound up to hear Yellowstone wolves howling! Our guide Jeramey Hutchison was thrilled to share this moment with our guests on a Yellowstone National Park tour. He was sure to let them know that this was not a typical sighting that we have every day, which makes it so special when we do get to have these moments. Yellowstone is such a special place because we never know what nature is going to show us on any given day. We are always ready to be amazed!

Seeing wolves in Yellowstone is extremely difficult. Honestly, going into this trip I just hoped to see wildlife and have a good time. This “find the wolves” mission felt far fetched and I didn’t think we’d actually do it😂. There are less than 100 wolves in the 2.2 million acres of the park and spotting one of these elusive creatures, much less 13, is a dream. We went about our day looking and hoping but really just enjoyed being in the park. Then we happened to find some of the most knowledgeable wolf trackers in the country. Rick McIntyre is the most iconic, long-term “wolf watcher” in Yellowstone National Park, and has spent decades tracking, studying, and helping visitors find them. He’s written several books about wolves and on this trip I learned that he used the profits from his books to help fund the incredible work of @taylorlrabe , a biological science technician with The Wolf Project and an overall really cool person. So thankful to both of them for being so kind and helping us spot the wolves. I couldn’t be more thrilled we had this experience. So thankful. (We actually saw some wolves the next morning by going out to the same spot and finding the same crew of trackers. We were even closer that time but still about a mile away) 🐺 The top wolf-viewing areas in YNP: Lamar Valley Hayden Valley Slough Creek Northeast Entrance Road ⏰ Best Time of Year to See Wolves: Winter (December–March) ⭐ Best time -Wolves stand out against snow -Fewer tourists -Easier tracking Spring (April–May) - Good for pups near dens 👀 What Increases Your Chances: -Bring or rent a spotting scope or quality binoculars -Arrive before sunrise -Check in with local wildlife watchers -Stay multiple days Some visitors see wolves in a few hours. Others spend days without luck. ⚠️ Please remember that wolves and all wildlife are wild animals. Always give them plenty of space, never approach, and never attempt to feed or follow them. Respecting distance helps keep wildlife wild and ensures these incredible animals remain safe for future generations to experience.
