4RDon’t do this… but many of you have seen the videos of the 6G 4Runner lane assist water bottle trick…
Basically the new 6th Gen has Lane assist that will in fact push you back into the lane and steer slightly. However for safety this feature only works when your hand is on the wheel. So someone figured out you could shove a water bottle in there and trick it into thinking your hand is still on there.
Not a great idea as you can see it didn’t keep us fully in the lane here when it got windy.
