To you, this may be a simple roll of toilet paper, but to young girls in some of the most marginalized communities in our country, this is their only option for period protection. So many young girls are left to choose from unsuitable pad substitutes such as; toilet paper, rags, napkins, and even leaves. As a result, these girls can end up missing up to 1 year of school. Lack of access to period protection starts a vicious cycle; they miss classes and miss out on activities that help build their confidence and skills. This year, for the 4th consecutive year, Always will execute the #EndPeriodPoverty initiative locally partnering with Her Flow ( @herflow ) and continue its mission to ensure no girl misses school and loses self-confidence because she doesn’t have access to period protection. This initiative will help provide young girls in need throughout the country with the period protection they deserve. Here's how you can help - for every pack of @always_brand #AlwaysPads that you purchase between now and June 30th, a donation of one pad will be triggered.
