Birth control isn’t right for everyone and that’s absolutely valid. But on a population level, it has given women freedoms we never had before. The ability to plan our lives, pursue careers and to choose if AND when we become mothers.
Influencers claiming birth control is the reason why IVF is booming is purposefully misleading and designed to feed the MAHA news cycle. Here’s what’s really happening here: if they can make you distrust birth control, if they can demonize it enough, it becomes a lot easier to strip away. The worst part is that so many people won’t even realize it until it’s gone. We MUST resist this kind of thinking and call this out whenever we see this online!! 🫶
