VIThis is a bout as spicy as I usually get😜 but I wanted to Rant about my pet peeve with builders and kitchen designers still specing out base door and drawer cabinets with shelves. NO ONE WANTS THOSE. The quote may look better without some added drawers but it isn’t setting up a great workflow moving forward, especially in a spec home. The kitchen is such a heavily used area of a home, why are we still selling people cabinets that don’t function well??? Unfortunately a lot of home owners don’t know any better and aren’t given the care to be shown the best options. Just the cheapest price to get the sale. Yes, more drawers is more cost.
