KAIn 2023 I was a year or so PP, lost in motherhood after having 2 under 2. I was starting to get anxious because we were slowing cutting into our savings with costs rising. My dad offered to buy me my first single needle machine so I could do scrubs for his small business. I agreed and got to learning from YouTube university.
I learned how to do baseballs, appliqué, logos, etc. on my tiny little 4x4 machine. I delivered lots of packages, met up with people, drove all over the south puget sound getting my name out there. I upgraded to a 5x7 single needle 6 months later. Things kept progressing, I opened a hat bar in 2024 alongside my embroidery to get out there and just try something new at markets. I bought a multi needle in May and then a second in October 2024 (after completing a 750 piece order on one machine, but that’s a whole other story).
We had a few reels get up there in views, I was spreading myself thin with wholesale, markets, and custom items. In 2025 I kept having a strong pull to stay home and really throw myself into just embroidery. I was doing just one market regularly, but that still was just too much to keep up with. I decided to stay home in the summer and that was the best decision 💗
Since then we’ve grown over 10k followers, I’ve added a 3rd machine, and I’m still just as in love with embroidering as I was the first day I started. My feet have never been able to be under me since we started, the constant growth has been hard to keep up with at times, but wow am I glad that I decided to say yes to embroidery. If you’re ever thinking of taking the leap, I’m here to say DO IT. The growth personally and professionally has been exponential. I’ve realized the ones that are truly there, the ones to hold at arms distance, and how strangers can really be your biggest supporters 💗
