Let’s clear something up. Fallen angels and Nephilim are not the same
In Genesis 6 we read that the sons of God meaning rebellious angels took human women. The result was the Nephilim, a hybrid race of giants who were never supposed to exist
These fallen angels were judged and chained. But the Nephilim? Their bodies died in the flood, but many believe their spirits remained and became what we now call demons or unclean spirits
This is why Jesus so often cast out demons. They are part of the spiritual war that started long ago but still affects our world today
God created angels for His glory
Some rebelled
They crossed a line
And their judgment is already written
But Jesus wins. And if you follow Him, you walk in His victory

EXDemons Are Not Fallen Angels. The Bible Forces a Different Conclusion. Second Peter chapter 2 verse 4 and Jude chapter 1 verse 6 both say the fallen angels from Genesis chapter 6 are already imprisoned in Tartarus. So the demons wandering through the Gospels cannot be the same category of being.

DORevisiting some of Doug’s favourite artists who have influenced him throughout his musical journey to this day ✨ first one on the list is none other than Gram Parsons.
Read what Doug had to say about him from an interview he did with @thebluegrasssituation 🪕
“Gram Parsons influenced me. I was listening to all of the early country-rock bands, and Gram was a member of the Flying Burrito Brothers. I particularly like Gram Parsons when he did that song “Do Right Woman.” I thought that was an awesome song. It is an Aretha Franklin song — he turned it around. What Gram was trying to do was fuse different styles together and that is why he was so inspirational to me. I never saw him live but listened to him and knew his songs.
After Flying Burrito Brothers, he did that thing with the Byrds, the Sweetheart of the Rodeo record. That just opened up the sky for me when I heard that record. When Sweetheart of the Rodeo came out, that was the real beginning of me listening to Gram Parsons’ music. And then shortly after that along came Emmylou Harris. They went on the road as the Fallen Angels. That was back when country-rock was being born. It was real inspirational for me.
Then I have always loved duets, you know. I have been listening to and loving duets all my life. I think Gram and Emmylou are like the prettiest duets I have ever heard. Listening to them became an addiction at that point. Their duets that really speak to me include “She” — that is on my first album. I was so pleased to have Emmylou provide vocals and sing on my record. The other two duets that stand out for me are “Hearts on Fire” and of course “The Return of the Grievous Angel.”
One Gram song that rattles around in my head is “Hickory Wind.” Back in the day that is what all the cool guys were playing. When Emmylou came along, the big chart-topper was “Love Hurts.” I still love all of his music. I went to Joshua Tree to visit Gram’s special place. It was a wonderful experience for me. There are some videos of me at Joshua Tree Inn, where Gram passed…”

THWhen you’re in the centre of Gods will, you’re also in the centre of the enemies target.
It can feel confusing to be a good person and seem like you’re under attack.. but I feel like today’s post is to remind you that the easiest way to understand and have peace in a world that is in a tumultuous state of affairs, regardless of what’s happening around you or to you, is to remember that we are in an ancient war between the forces of good and evil, and the pursuit of both sides is the human soul. You are a prized possession to both God and the fallen angels, and both sides although they are after the same thing, play by different rules.
However the peace comes from knowing that good has already won, and despite the tribulation that is and is to come, we can rest in knowing that we are victorious in Christ.
So I can be released from the paralysing anxiety and hopelessness that seeks to devour our peace and choose to seek out beauty again, to relish in the majesty that enwraps us.. it’s funny how little beauty we notice when we are under physical or spiritual oppression.
Soak in this moment for a minute, the peace I have, I give to you, that you may feel it too.
