HERE 👇 ☑️Fad diets = temporary results. I tried ENDLESS diets and would gain weight back because - IT WAS NOT SUSTAINABLE. To lose fat you need ONE thing, a calorie deficit aka eating less than you burn. Choose a diet you can see yourself sticking with long term so your results are long term. ☑️ Tracking calories is a game changer for fat loss. I used to blindly follow meal plans not knowing calories should be specific to me. While tracking may not for everyone, it is SO effective. I compare it to budgeting. If you were overspending the first thing you would do is look at income and spending. Calories work the same way. Trying to work off of someone else’s budget won’t work. Track where you are, know your numbers and adjust as needed. ☑️ Tracking every macro is NOT necessary. It’s overwhelming to track every macro. Studies prove if you hit your calories and hit your protein, fat loss is the same regardless of fat and carb ratios. Focus on calories and protein, you’ll lose fat and lots of flexibility. ☑️Reverse dieting is KEY for long term fat loss. I’m my 20’s, I cut calories then didn’t know how to NOT diet without gaining. But deficits should not be lived in. I now know eating more (strategically) via a reverse diet will help metabolism and prevent weight regain.  ☑️Muscle Makes Fat Loss Easier! I used to avoid lifting heavy out of fear of getting “bulky”. But muscle helps give you a better metabolism so you can lose fat and keep it off. Plus it is what gives your body that sculpted look!  ☑️Muscle + Less body fat = Toned. I used to try different workouts claiming to “lengthen and tone” my muscles. But muscle can do 2 things; grow or shrink. When you grow them and decrease body fat with your diet, you get “toned”. ☑️Metabolism Slows from Lifestyle, not age. At 25 I thought metabolism dropped after 40. But in reality muscle loss and less activity impacts metabolism,  NOT aging. alone. Good news, you can control BOTH. You have to trust continuing to make the next best decision, often the hardest decisions, in being true to yourself. You have to look at your good, your bad & everything in between... and be ok with it, learn from it, evolve with it. Rethink Type 2 diabetes. Most people are told it’s permanent medication for life. But research shows something important: when the body’s metabolism improves, blood sugar control can improve too. Type 2 diabetes is closely tied to insulin resistance, especially in the liver. When the liver is constantly overloaded with excess sugar and refined carbohydrates, fat can accumulate, making insulin signaling less effective. Reduce that metabolic load, and the system often begins to work better again. What studies consistently show: • Lower sugar and refined carb intake can improve insulin sensitivity within weeks • Reducing liver fat is strongly linked to better glucose control • Diet and lifestyle changes can lead to remission in some people especially early in the disease This isn’t about perfection. It’s about lowering the daily metabolic burden. Start with fundamentals: • Prioritize protein and whole foods • Reduce ultra-processed sugar and refined flour • Take short walks after meals • Strength train 3–4 times per week • Sleep 7–9 hours and manage stress Lower sugar intake → less strain on organs → improved metabolic function. Fad diets don’t work long term because they’re not sustainable 🙅🏻‍♂️ When trying a new diet, it’s very possible to drop a few pounds quickly because you’re shocking your system and are likely in a caloric deficit - especially if you’re only consuming cigarettes and chocolate 😂 The problem is, the lack of nutrients and satiety leads to a binge (or several) that make you gain back what you lost, and then some. It never works 😩 Luckily, there’s a much better way to lose weight, making it sustainable and non-restrictive. Focus on high quality proteins, complex carbohydrates and other nutrient dense, whole food sources. Stay in a slight caloric deficit, exercise consistently and stay fit for LIFE! 😄 If you want help with this process, shoot me a DM and let’s get to work 💪🏼

The biggest mistake people make when they’re trying to lose weight 👉 (Save & Share 🤝) In my experience I’ve noticed a pattern when it comes to weight loss. Most people start by cutting their calories significantly. Which isn’t a bad move since you need to be in a calorie deficit in order to lose weight… However, if you’re cutting your calories too much and too quickly your body goes into starvation mode and ends up storing your food/fuel as fat. Also - if you aren’t strategically reducing your calories - you usually end up lowering your protein intake naturally which means you aren’t building or keeping the muscle you’ve gained (this leads to a plateau). ✍️ My recommendation: Move more. Exercise more. Get more steps in. Opposed to eating less and restricting yourself - because we all know that’s not sustainable. • Tag and share with a friend who may benefit from hearing this. • “Fit for Life” not “Fit for Now” 1% 🏆 • • #fitness #fitnessjourney #fitnesstips #nutrition #nutritioncoach #nutritiontips #healthylifestyle #puttheworkin

So if you’re eating 100% vegan, you should easily be getting 35+ grams of fiber daily. Well above the recommend minimum. So if you’re still struggling to lose weight, lack of fiber is not the issue. OVEREATING on calories is the issue. And hey, I get it. When I first went vegan I ate 100% whole food plant based with no limits. I thought I could eat unlimited amounts of healthy food and stay fit, but I soon found out that was not the case.
